The Union Hall

The Union Hall is the place where modern Romania was born. Built in 1898, the hall hosted the national unification vote of 1918, and is now home to the oldest museum in the city of Alba Iulia.

An exhibition of graphic works bringing together pieces signed by some of the greatest artists of the 20th century: Pablo PICASSO, Georges BRAQUE, Marc CHAGALL, Salvador DALÍ, Henri MATISSE, Giorgio DE CHIRICO, Max ERNST, Hans HARTUNG, Wassily KANDINSKY, René MAGRITTE, André MASSON, Henry MOORE, Man RAY, Victor VASARELY, and Ossip ZADKINE. The works come from the prestigious collection of lawyer George Șerban. Alongside them, the renowned contemporary artist Zuzu Caratănase will also exhibit.
