Bianca Rotaru's creation is distinguished by an apparent anarchic juxtaposition of elements, which, upon closer analysis, reveals a decantation of reality through an aesthetic filter carefully applied to those details that escape us from everyday life. The alternation of figurative-abstract outlines a new visual syntax, erasing the identification marks in order to configure through each element a new identity of the "common", purified of its utilitarian function and aestheticized.
The fog that envelops the objects, infiltrated into the flesh of the canvas, like faded memories, of a melancholy that extracts from the fixed frame and projects memory into a floating state, becomes a leitmotif of the presence-absent, of the ephemerality of the concrete.
Rediscovering reality through immersion in what is revealed to us as seemingly impersonal, from objects to nature, through the layers of color that transform, dissolve or reformulate the exterior, Bianca Rotaru invites us to look at existence beyond materiality, regarding the fragility of existence and the certainty of an intrinsic spirituality through the lens of diary narratives.
