Contemplating Life Multimedia installation & performace - Livia Mateiaș Roots are our primordial links to the Universe. Using a living Ginseng Ficus Bonsai plant, which in some cultures encompasses the art of creating something much more than itself, the artist contemplates the nature of life through the living symbol. The idea behind Bonsai art refers to a cosmogonic concept, namely to recreate the whole of nature in form of a tree, or synthesized suggests that a single tree can embrace the whole universe in itself. This performance will have as a background the Green Universe multimedia installation by Livia Mateiaș. The public is invited to join the event by contemplating the symbolical tree alongside the artist, thus immersing themselves in the nature of art and life.
