Graduate of the University of Liverpool John Moores, artist Constantin Marian Broşteanu (1982, Brasov) uses photography, dynamic image and video support as exploratory platforms in contemporary artistic practices.
Two major themes present in his projects are the reinterpretation of the urban landscape and the exploration of the photographic environment in the post-digital era. Selections from the artist's portfolio were published and exhibited in various group exhibitions and international festivals. He lives and works in Manchester, UK.
The works in the "DIsrUpT: analog digital remix" exhibition are part of a wider series of studies entitled "Mnemonic Landscapes" and interrogate the visual universe, starting from the theory that the photographic image relies more on memory and the existing information of the viewer than on the detailed features of the image.
The compositions are timeless, they are part of the sphere of psychogeographic exercises exploring the landmarks in the urban landscape. They were made in Brasov in the winter of 2016 using one of the first portable digital camera, Game Boy Camera, with a monochrome resolution of 0.014 megapixels.
Born and raised in the beautiful city of Brasov at the foothills of Tampa, always grateful for nature's gifts that bring humans closer to infinity, love and the beauty of life. She wants to pass forward all this happiness through yoga, raw food cuisine and landscape art.
I get my inspiration from my childhood memories, dreams and everyday life in order to create playful and intricate watercolour illustrations that explore the relationship between myself and the world around me.
When I'm not busy saving the world from evil, I'm playing with colours and illustrations and sharing them with you.
Dan Cotruta is repeated in the National Art University, Photo-Video Section. At this point he is particularly interested in the way in which a careful view of real details can create an imaginary world.
He works especially on the film because it forces him to move more slowly but also because he likes the smell of the reaper.
She has exhibited at several group and individual exhibitions at the Victoria Gallery, the UNA Gallery, the Salon of Projects and Art Safari.
He is a relatively new actor on the visual arts scene, although he has had exhibitions since childhood, with a passion for pro-gnosticism, metaphorically expressed through the synthesized language within a populated space of characters from the props of the anthropomorphic reverie. He expresses himself in different techniques (drawing, linocut, collage and especially in ceramics), oscillates between the fantastic incarnation of beings from the edges of the world, chimeric prefigurations, impressive displays through the acrylic of the description, diversity of fauna - and between the archaic reverberation of subjects metamorphosed.

The project History at first person brought togheter 8 historical characters of our city, important figures that helped make our city what it is today. They are dressed accordingly with their time ( XVI- XIX century) and eager to tell you their stories. Along with a photo gallery you will also have the chance to hear them out of the frames, like a real live act from the 16th and 18th century!
Since forever I used to gather up pieces of material, while traveling or in extravagant boroughs with huge mountains of almost abandoned clothing & textiles in general. In a harmonious synergy they came out as quilts, bags, dresses, anything that could be re-used. I just wished to use up all my virtues and ideeas, not let them rot away with time.
Then along the years I was swept into this beautiful world of set and costume design. A world where everything was loaded with ancient stories, stories you could guess if only touching or smelling a piese of old textile. For a few short years I was completely absorbed by my work in that dirty studio.
Then what followed was a huge blessing becoming a mother. My whole cosmic attention had now a new purpose.
After a tridimensional gap I slowly come back to my senses and work, this time gathering pieces of fruits and plants, setting free new ideas that would take fragile forms. The world around me is transforming into something better, closer to ourselves. We strat reaching out to newer, alternative forms of living in all areas of life. I stopped supporting the big companies that have no consideration for nature or human beings. It is time for a new revolution, an inner one this time. This is how LLIFL was born, this "brand" as a sustainable alternative for kid's clothing. Caring for the community and the planetary resources every single person involved in this work is treated fairly.
The human in the cube is limitated by his fake captivity, but he has features that can change his condition. In our vision, human interaction is the most effective way to escape the internal imprisonment. The link with the external world, apparently blocked by the glass, is easily recreated through touch, the most effective way to connect with one's internal vibes.
