The Culture House of the City of Craiova was established in 1973, and changed its name into Traian Demetrescu Culture House in 1991. The organization is functioning in the memorial house that belonged to Traian Demetrescu.

White Nights of the Art Galleries, Tradem, Craiova, 2019 intends to offer the public of Craiova the chance of an informal meeting with the local artists, mediated by their works of art. It is an opportunity to remind the public the place the city holds in the national and European art. Over twenty local artists will exhibit their works, realized in different techniques: oil and watercolor painting, textile collage, engraving, ceramic, sculpture.
