Atelierul de Productie is a nonconventional space which reintegrates the former filature workshop of the Cotton Industry Factory in Bucharest's art life. As a reconverted industral space, Berlin style, Atelerul de Productie mixes the gallery concept with that of music and dancing events. This year, during NAG, the Atelier celebrates 3 years of existence.

Three years from the grand opening, Atelierul de Productie is concentrating on a female-only Romanian collective which brings together the playful street art and the more serious, easel style painting, after two weeks of interaction during which the artist have extracted their inner MAtROane & PAtROane.
Girls, women and all female forms are hiding and exposing in the same time, considering gender identity as irrelevant, since all people are a fluid construction of female and male. Power and sex, mater and pater, feminine and masculine, intuition and moods, all this form the specific of the collective mentality, in which MAtROane & PAtROane are strong women, feisty and respected in a way which is conventionally associated with men, but their stories go beyond common through rational, personal and, most important, through relaxation.
The visual is supported by sound, in a display of cool chicks, quite rare in the musical Romanian scene, from past to future.
