In us we trust draws on the concepts of information and information networks to engage with the ways in which we relate to them within contemporary societies marked by tensions and confusion. This project calls for a reflection on our capacities of shaping truths, values, beliefs and myths as we interact with information and the multiple technologies that facilitate its circulation. My aim is to address in a critical manner the ambivalent dimensions of information by deconstructing rigid boundaries between perceptions, opinions, understandings, and judgments. This pursuit invokes for me the need to raise a set of questions that target core vulnerabilities of our hyper-connected societies: What possibilities do we have to reflect anew on the formation and deformation of everyday realities?; What are the ways in which we can assume and position ourselves towards the ambivalent dimensions of information? In following these questions, I felt inspired by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche and the way his work resonates with the more recent concept of 'post-truth' to refer to the fluid aspects of truth.
