The Tranzit Project was born in 1997 as the consequence of the need of filling the social-cultural void in the city. From this point of view maybe the project started in a slightly utopian way. During the last years parts of the initial vision have become reality. The Strategy of the Tranzit project aims in parallel at restoring the building of the synagogue and filling it with artistic and social content. At the beginning we have started to organize artistic manifestation even without having the necessary infrastructure since we wanted to raise awareness among artists and the public and to create its symbolic base: remodeling a forgotten but central site for public use, and giving space for diverse social, ethnic and professional groups. Few years later this path has proven to be viable, symbolic resources have been transformed in material ones.

_We are not so naive as to believe that what we would call the new generation can be somehow anticipated or evaluated by a language or a key already academized and therefore dead. What interests us here is to draw the boundaries of a battlefield, a battlefield, to establish the (impossible) framework of a revolution that will come. Because we are sure that he would do nothing but end something unfinished or repeat what is already well known. The artists we call consecrated are not looking for intelligible things or people, but rather stubbornly put their finger on something that burns, even if this would do nothing but announce their own end. _Artists such as Ciprian Mureșan, Șerban Savu, Matei Bejenaru, Mona Vătămanu and Florin Tudor, Monotremu (Laura Borotea and Gabriel Boldiș), Miklósi Dénes and Miklós Szilárd, Ágnes-Evelin Kispál and Attila Kispál let themselves be aroused by the team engaged in an approach that restores them to the logic of working with local stakes and communities by selecting artists from younger generations and curating an exhibition with them. - Răzvan Anton and Mihai Iepure-Górski. _The "Future Perfect # 5" edition presents works and series of works, exhibited in the exhibition space on the floor of Casa Tranzit, by young artists in whose practice photography is the main medium or where it is an important component. At the same time, these artists are concerned with the theme “at home” either in a broader personal-historical context, or through its presence in intimacy and in the profession, or in a sociological and historical-architectural approach.
