The Balassi Institute - Hungarian Institute of Bucharest invite visitors on the Night of the Galleries to the Confluence exhibition, a project that started in 2017 from the initiative of the Mureş County Museum made through an open call for young artists (between 20 and 40). Approximately 250 works of art were submitted through the open call and 75 of them made by 33 artists were selected for the exhibition which took place in Târgu Mureş. How do you take your art? Art reception event with Ungvári-Zrínyi Kata What really happens in the exhibition space? What tools do we use in the reception process of art? We invite every art lover to an active art appreciation event. The visitors will have the chance to play around with the recetion process with different methods - and will find that every experiment, despite their playfulness, carries the potential to deepen the art experience. Come to the Balassi Institute on the evening of October 11th and weigh the question: How do you consume art? We will take your order and you can try your chosen version on site. All are welcome! (Ungvári-Zrínyi Kata) The art reception project "How do you take your art" was launched in 2018 at the K'Arte Room, and in February 2019 it was adapted to use the collection of the MAGMA Contemporary Medium in Sfântu-Gheorghe. The project constantly transforms and grows: with every event, new tools are added to the collection (toolkit) used in the reception process - using the suggestions of visitors from the previous events. This time, the art reception space takes the form of an intervention in the space of the Confluence exhibition.
