Clujotronic Mile
Piața Unirii

Clujotronic - Electro Arts Festival brings together in Cluj-Napoca innovative and unique digital art and new media projects since 2012. Organized by the German Cultural Center and the French Institute Cluj, the festival comes with a unique concept, which promotes and supports interdisciplinary experiments that combine art and technology. The formats presented are: virtual and augmented reality experiences, interactive installations, independent digital games, electronic music and visual art. This year, Clujotronic transforms various public spaces into scenes for unique cultural experiences. Thus was born Clujotronic Mile, an itinerary that starts at the Art Museum and ends on the Boulevard of Heroes, where the augmented reality exhibition "We AR Culture" is located.

The festival has become a platform for the exchange of experience between artists and specialists in technical fields from Germany, Romania and France. International guests propose new forms of artistic expression through innovative techniques borrowed from various fields, which they try to integrate into the traditional market. Music meets digital visual art, street art meets mapping, graphics meets programming. The festival also has an important educational mission expressed through the indispensable conferences, workshops with international guests and game jams, in order to support the segment of those talented and passionate about digital innovations and to provide them with a training and development framework. We, the Clujotronic team, believe in the strength of our creative community, so we decided to explore the challenges of a hybrid edition this year: a mix of offline and online events, a fusion of art and technology, a meeting of different cultural experiences, a collaboration between cultural actors and festivals. We are going through a period in which we are learning new ways to connect, and through Clujotronic we want to create a bridge between digital and in-person meetings. Thus, this year's edition will be offline as a new media art gallery, with several stations starting from the Art Museum and ending on Heroes Boulevard.
