The cultural project ARcTic - Save the blue planet - performance show & live exhibition, co-financed by AFCN and UNArte, treats in a unique way a topical issue of society, being an interdisciplinary artistic performance in which art combines with technology. Climate change occurring worldwide as a result of human pollution increasingly threatens the biosphere, which also affects the quality of human life. Thus, the project will draw attention to how consumerism affects the environment, as well as the negative impact that humans have on other species. The 6 costumes are inspired by some of the most affected species in the polar regions: the Antarctic krill, the Antarctic ant, the giant octopus, the imperial penguin, the imperial cormorant. The chosen animals are particularly tender from an aesthetic point of view, and the message transmitted is accentuated by generating a strong emotional and visual impact, enhanced by the mixed techniques used.
