Starting with the first cosmogonies and follows the gradual human history there is an accumulation of symbols and iconography around the elements. The art works selection by means of curatorial theme shows the constant presence of elements in the products of the thoughts and imagination of the human race.

It is believed that there exists a delicate balance between elements, one that must be maintained if there is hope for equilibrium in the universe. A continual blur between the four classical elements and the oscillating variations with regards to their presence in one’s life is our inception behind the art exhibition titled “Fo(u)r elements” which sounds as an invitation to be experienced by yourself.
