CAROL 53 is an open environment that fosters, encourages and promotes initiatives of individuals or groups of people. It belongs to no one and it is a nondiscriminatory space. We provide a neutral framework in which diverging or converging parts of society can confront and discuss ideas, redefining the communication between them shaping new relations between generations, occupations and interests in order to further develop the city and its culture.

Enthropic erosion: Human Citiscapes

Several young artists from Bucharest will show in the space of Carol 53 a cluster of works comprising paintings, drawings, installation, photography and film. They will approach an angle on the causality of erosion by an entropic synthetic melange that refers to the urban space in which they are active in. The novelty stays in the mix "recipe": different visions and angles that converge, both concrete as well as overemphasized. The show is an answer to the warm challenge over an analytically urban visual discourse.
