The project proposes the assault of an unconventional space which hosts contemporary art. The gathering of several artists on the occasion of this year’s White Night Gallery Crawl brings up different types of interpretation in contemporary plastic arts of the boundary situations and critical moments in one man’s life.

Rene Raileanu, Rolland Niculuşcă, Daniel Rosca, Nastasia and Olga Radu Morar, each pursue a distinct visual line, based on a personal project, converging eventually in this formula. In one night, we propose five artists presenting their journey through a reflection of inner life crisis, echoed by the human body.

For the process of the exhibition, the five artists have decided to bind their creations in a composition which will include painting, sculpture, installation and sound (by Antonie).
Rolland Niculuşcă started from a simple play with different techniques and materials found in his studio. After testing them repeatedly, he created a wide range of works which encapsulate both the message and the technique. Olga Morar, an artist concerned with the problems arising from the antagonism perfect – imperfect, performs a metaphysical representation of the nude. Rene Raileanu presents his portrait series, in which he illustrates the expression of limit states, the search of expression and inner life. Daniel Rosca plastically narrates about brutalizing the soul and taking it on the brink of collapse, while Radu Nastasia addresses the theme through sculptural methods, making an overwhelmingly minimalist sculpture, thus  aiming at intimidating the human being and simulating a sense of failure.

The exhibition space is located in the beating heart of the city. Day to day urban life is also the main source of inspiration for the artists, in this way they exhibit “in the heart of the action”.
