Double exhibition event at Ivan Gallery that brings together in the same place and at the same time two openings: “Dura-Europos” at the ground floor, the solo show of Iulia Toma (1974) with a new project that engages different media - photography, video, textile installation - in addressing issues from the present geo-political and social context, such as war, dislocation and alterity, while at the first floor we show an insertion from recent Romanian art history that revisits a series of drawings and etchings, “The Presence of Objects” worked by Simona Runcan (1942-2007) between 1969-1972.
