The topic of the Craiova Architecture Annual is related to the good professional practice and alignment with international trends in the field. The works participating in the Annual come from most of the branch's representative centres: Craiova, Targu-Jiu, Slatina and Drobeta Turnu Severin. The exhibited projects illustrate a variety of functions: from housing, public buildings, interior design, to restoration examples, as well as two projects participating in an international architecture competition.

The main target is to encourage the conception of quality works and the competition among the professionals, things that can be done through periodical valuation and public recognition of the architecture product. This should be seen like an opportunity for the architect to present his work to community, a way to facilitate public comprehension of standards and good practice in our domain.
