"The "Alexander Tietz" German Library Reșița was inaugurated in this location on October 19, 1995, as the German Section of the "Paul Iorgovici" Caraș-Severin County Library, under whose tutelage the library still exists today. After the massive renovation/reconstruction from 2003 to 2004, the "Alexander Tietz" German Library Reșița redefined its activity, becoming today a true Cultural Center of Reșița, organizing here both inside and in the courtyard, various elite events such as book launches, fine art exhibitions, cultural-artistic mini-performances, spiritual and educational activities."
