PLATFORMA is a project started in 2011, led by artists and supported by MNAC (National Museum of Contemporary Art Bucharest). We propose a program consisting of visions that are as tinted and different as the team’s concerns. The places where these visions meet are: encouraging very young artists, unique and interdisciplinary collaborations and a changing dynamic of the exhibited projects (from work experiments in the space or alternative events of one day to exhibitions, sound installations, live acts and performances).

Forest of Sounds is a re-contextualization of the idea of acoustic event as an archived sound .The exhibition proposes the archived sound as a sound landscape /acoustic leaving the public the possibility to create a personal / unique narrative. Forest of Sounds suggests the performative as a mean of recovering a lost or an unfamiliar sound indicating a place where the acoustic event overlaps with our own audible gestures.
Project funded by the National Cultural Fund Administration in partnership with the Geneva Ethnography Museum, Spatiul Platforma, MNAC, Culture Society Dimitrie Gusti, Fundu Moldovei Hall, TATAIA.
