Active in mural painting, but also on canvas, IRLO and Andrei Grigorescu, in this collaboration, proposed an installation treatment of the space, where methods and environments merge. Two seemingly independent universes become the occasion for the probing of what is hidden: from police cars, gambling deities and the decadence of fringe neighborhoods to aliens, heroes, martyrs, dinosaurs and demons. All these elements create a unified narrative of what is seen and unseen in equal measure. The exhibition is completed by Schoppel Cut. Starting from the study of the past and its social consequences on the present, the collage series aims to illustrate how we are participating in the creation of our history. Man writes historical fiction, and his discourse is dependent on certain rhetorics. He writes history starting from his own dialogue with reality (inner struggle/struggle with the Other), but also from the very expression of the world on its inner structures. Therefore, the works describe the subjective-objecting, individual-general dynamic, manifesting this playful, conservative or anarchist historical imagination.
