Finnisage "two to midnight/rise and shine" the image is what it is. : an arrangement for the eye. the image is not what it is: the arrangement for the eye is not the image. the forming of the image takes place in the mind. the image is that which it is not: the image in the mind as well as in the senses is always in a state of change, update, transformation. nothing is fixed. there is no such thing as a still image. still images do not exist. a painting is that, only insofar as it is an object. that's all.
