Art Factory
“Art Factory” is a pop-up gallery project and contemporary art festival intended to raise awareness regarding the destiny of abandoned industrial sites through projects of temporary cultural conversion. The third installment of the festival returns, between the 5th and the 8th of October, to Bucharest, and will take place inside the FAUR Factories. Concept: Man, in the attempt of finding his own identity and place in the world, shapes it, shapes himself and he shapes others. In this process he leaves traces upon his environment, his kin and himself. One of the means of negotiating man's relationship with its surroundings is drawing, which becomes in this case a tool of self-discovery. The exhibition we are displaying as part of Art Factory follows the trails man leaves in this process of self-inquiry.
