Pantelimon is one of the most notorious neighborhoods in Romania and, even though some people only hear about it in B.U.G Mafia lyrics, the neighborhood hides fascinating places and stories, known only by its residents. The first electric tram in Bucharest, the demolitions of the 70's, the thermal insulation nowadays, the life of the working class that built socialism and the life of the youth who now learn about the past. These are not only the Pantelimon stories, but the East European stories in general. Gathering local and international artists support, but also with the help of the neighborhood community, Make a Point brings to life the often overlooked local dimension of history and the unexplored stories and places, those deserving to be discovered. Join the opening of the Giants of Pantelimon photo exhibition and discover the neighborhood through the eyes of the inhabitants and of those who have crossed the streets of Pantelimon. A permanent open air exhibition, part of Giants of Pantelimon project.
