This year’s concept is circumscribed to the idea of the Renaissance, meant as a recovery of it but grafted onto a modern trunk. Starting from the idea that in art, as in any other domain however, advancing is recessive, novelty gets back a part of tradition, imposing that difference which separates them. `Classical` art makes us get used to works which are completed in the beauty canon ( measure, symmetry, proportion, balance), the ` artistic`demonstrating the mastery of the rules related to the genre.Yet, today, art can be more or less: science as well as transfiguration, acquisition, copier, parody, a combination of some elements which no longer have the auras of harmony and beauty. Thus, we want to point out not only the links with the Renaissance, but mainly, the differences. Within this vision, we consider that a work of art must not wait for the moment of `reception` in order to be validated, to become a self-sufficient entity. This type of indifference of the work of art to the reception moment has something sovereign in itself. This `something` results from the involvement of the artist, the creator, who lives the accomplishment of the work of art as a `first game`, becoming a `second game` only for the receptor.As a result, this year, our intention is to postulate the status of the work of art both by recovering, assimilating the Renaissance concepts and by asserting the elements that deliniate it, especially.
