Initiated by the Association for the Museum of Contemporary Art Brașov, Brașov Art Connect is a cultural project dedicated to the visual arts, aiming to create a framework for dialogue and artistic encounter between Romanian artists in the country and in the diaspora. The project seeks to promote contemporary Romanian art and to strengthen the public’s connection with current visual creation. Through a large-scale collective exhibition held simultaneously in four cultural venues in Brașov County—Galeria Europe, Galeria Transilvania, the Apollonia Hirscher Cultural Centre in Brașov, and the Museum of Codlea Traditions in Codlea—visitors are invited to discover and engage with diverse forms of artistic expression, from painting to graphics, sculpture, and mixed media. For this edition, over 100 professional artists have been selected to exhibit, representing a wide variety of styles, techniques, and visions. By bringing these creators together, Brașov Art Connect becomes a platform for cultural exchange and a space for dialogue between artists and the public, between tradition and innovation, between the local and the global. In doing so, the project contributes to consolidating the artistic community and enriching Brașov’s cultural landscape, offering the wider public the opportunity to explore contemporary art in its current forms and to take part in a collective experience of visual discovery and reflection.
