"A special case, Lisandru Neamțu creates a certain type of surrealism whose means are gestural means, so it is a paradox like the one with Hegel who was an idealist but used dialectics. The artist created a stylistic innovation, approaching a form of surrealism with gestural means, with organic means that tend to configure themselves into geometric elements. So it oscillates between a geometric and an organic expressionism and a surrealism in a certain form of it. Surrealism consists in rendering higher realities through forms of joining - otherwise despised - through the omnipotence of the imagination and through the disinterested freedom of thoughts.
