UNIREA Studios are located in a building of the former factory with the same name and host the personal creative spaces of a group of artists from Cluj-Napoca. The proposed exhibition encompasses diverse media, from painting to collage and video art. Centered around experiment and interpretations of the artwork as it is developed or in its final form, the event provides an exclusive glimpse into private art studios showcasing the work of 11 visual artists and designers. UNIREA Open Studios aims to encourage encounters and facilitate dialogue between the artists and the public since creating and responding are intrinsically connected.

UNIREA Open Studios opens its doors within the former Unirea factory, an industrial heritage site that, through the interventions of its artists, has been transformed into a vibrant laboratory of contemporary art in Cluj-Napoca. Within this context, the personal creative studios become an exhibition trail that brings together diverse media – painting, graphics, installation, design objects, and video art – reflecting the breadth of current visual practices. The proposed event explores the fertile tension between process and outcome, between experimentation and interpretation, inviting the public to step into intimate spaces where ideas take shape and evolve into works of art. UNIREA Open Studios is rooted in the direct connection between artists and visitors, fostering dialogue, the exchange of perspectives, and the exploration of unique creative worlds.
