The project is questioning the relationship between body, space, and context, starting with the idea that any presence, in this case artistic, becomes a practice of listening and inhabiting, which is inseparable from the place where it happens. Space, whether we refer to that of the canvas, the space outside us, or the space inside us, thus asserts itself not only as a simple background, but as an active partner, a territory of memory, traces, and vibrations, which conditions the appearance of the artistic sign.
Between text and image, between reading and visual perception, the graphic sign constitutes itself not only as a bearer of meaning, but as a device that shapes perception and highlights the relationship between corporeality and gesture. The works relate to a dynamic perception of the sign, constituting an integral part of a broader conceptual framework, that of the current research theme, which investigates the expressiveness of gesture and the relationship between sign and the corporeality of movement.
