Conversion of a former communist-era spinning workshop, Atelierul de Producţie / The Production Workshop hosts a diverse mix of cultural events: concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, dance performances etc. Opened on the occasion of the White Night of the Galleries, Atelierul will be two years old in June.

Red Bull Art of Can Meets Filatura Collective

The Production Workshop put together for the 2012 White Night of the Galleries a heterogeneous group of artists to bring a new interpretation of the concept of Red Bull Art of Can. The team consists of two sculptors, two digital artists, a painter, an architect, two designers of urban toys, who use resin, plaster, steel, cardboard, string and other materials more or less conventional in order to transpose their artistic vision into 5 installations inspired by aluminum can. The result will be an eclectic mix of media that will complement the exhibition Red Bull Art of Can 2011, partially exhibited in the framework of the above mentioned opening. The event, which integrates an experimental musical component, marks two years since the first cultural event hosted by The Production Workshop. After the galleries tour, all art lovers are expected at The Production Workshop for the official after party for the 2012 White Night of the Galleries.
