Victoria Art Center for Contemporary Cultural Production is a space dedicated to contemporary art, created from a private initiative to help the Romanian artists. The center aims to stimulate and promote contemporary Romanian art and facilitate international cultural exchanges. The center also aims to create a framework for interdisciplinary dialogue by organizing debates, round tables, publication launches and initiating educational programs for the development of taste and appetite for contemporary cultural product.

On a biological and social perspective the man is permanent goods, services and information consumer. To live, he must satisfy various needs that require goods consumption. Nature provides some necessary elements, but human beings have to take, modify and adapt them for use. These changes form the basis of production and they result from the need of individuals to satisfy those needs.
The official website of the Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Protection, a governmental decision was published to stipulate the mandatory minimum gross salary. We decided to do an experiment based on determining the area of consumption provided by such payment. Our project will consist of photographic and video documentation of the life experience that is continuously repeated for an unprivileged category of Romanian citizens.
