See you on the boat!/ Ne vedem pe barca!Some history, in chronology way of speaking:
Exactly one year ago, Maria Magdalena had an exposition, which was the part of night of galleries, in Caminul Artei, where Agnieszka send Rene to see the exposition. Next time, when Agnieszka came to Bucharest in the summer, all tree just met by coincidence on the street. One time by walking streets by night, Agnieszka met Maria Magdalena who was playing Frisbee on Piata Constitutiei. They both went back to their country, and Rene joined in November.
Before all of them were attending to UNArte (girls with student exchange program).
During this year we were having ideas , which were created from feeling we call “missing Bucharest” feeling, as much as from other things also: enjoying Poland, thinking of people and places we left in Romania, fighting with winter in Poznań, longing for spring.
We were all growing at the sea sides, of Black sea and Baltic bay. When Rene had a vision of boats in Cismigiu, drifting with people on the calm waters of the lake, we knew there are many ways to make this vision grow. Make it as a goal of our coming back to beloved city. Manifest our happiness getting back to Bucharest, again, the place that brought us together and gave us a lot.
The cruise with a boat in Cismigiu can be the metaphor of ones journey or the dream of being back home.
We want to invite you for a row on the lake with boats we transformed following our fantasies when you step in the boat you may find a surprise, a good one hopefully
We consider our trip we will make soon from Poznań to Bucharest as part of our project. Our event in the Night of Galleries is the project’s finissage.
Our “exhibition” will take place outside, OUT DOOR.
