LABORNA Gallery aims to record monthly professional development of individual artistic labor in raw version. Artists who began this project are: Traian Boldea, Ciprian Paleologu and Marian Poiană in the gallery space on no. 17 Icoanei street.
Public presentation events are called BORNE and are held on the last Tuesday of each month (since April 2013).
This gallery has no fixed visiting hours, those who want to contact us can send a mail or give us a phone call.
LABORNA Gallery Art has the form of a diary in which those interested can watch the timing of artistic creation.
LABORNA tries to preserve what the artist create normally on a fixed period of time - 1 month, without claiming that these works form a concept or an "exhibition". The public is accustomed with the "treated" of the artist’s vision, perceiving it through the curator’s filter, the exhibition concept, the project studied, reformatted and "wrapped" as "watch-spectacular" manner. Access into to the artist’s laboratory is quite rare (no overlap here with the studio term), therefore, the complete perspective that builds the artist’s vision is often difficult to follow. We can say that LABORNA Gallery is actually a counter: Creation in real time.
