DISGUISE The discourse built around vulnerability is common among generations of artists at the beginning of their journey. Most often, this kind of discourse is about explorations of the self, of insecurities and frailties, either episodic or marked by permanence. Teodora also lingers in the proximity of this discourse, however, daring brave approaches, deeply aesthetic, and equally, detached from the usual artistic approaches of recent years. Through bold colors, the artist proposes a delicate game with the duality of the characters presented. Apparently marked by the figurative, they are embodied through a delicate exploration of the collage. Teodora starts from an idea and obsessively declines it in various mediums and meticulous reliefs constructed with a ravishing selflessness. Surprising constructions outline dual characters in contorted positions and close-up portraits with acute gazes.
