Anaid Art Gallery opened its doors in 2004 as a private gallery for contemporary art. Gallery aims to promote Romanian contemporary art by developing partnerships and collaboration with galleries abroad, encouraging and stimulating aesthetic values while providing ample space for dialogue between creator and audience.
The objectives of the gallery:
Awareness of contemporary society of the artistic practice
Creating an informed public, able to understand and assimilate contemporary aesthetic issues
Coordination of activities of documentation and representation of Romanian contemporary art
Forming a framework for dissemination of artistic information through media communication

The installations presented at Anaid Art Gallery recall conditions and events of a common place occurring in childhood and beyond which are closely related to the aggressive competitiveness of the game. Every kid is a potential ‘king of flies’ playing a "soft" version of the survival game, resulting in the paradox and relativity of concepts such as death, life or health. Thus, in a competition, be it on the street, around blocks or virtual you can die all you want, come back to life or if you get hurt you can get an extra life. Everything is possible and if you are being "watched" by a fantastic superhero is even better. His powers and weapons will fight on your side.
And in a lifetime, who knows, you’ll find that the game becomes reality just when your superhero looks elsewhere. Eventually watching a movie of himself ... Son of a bitch!
