The ATELIER 030202 gallery is a non-profit platform for contemporary art, dedicated to young artists, curators and art historians, interested in experiment and originality in the visual arts of today. A ‘’breathing’’ platform promoting artistic events along with the theater and interventions of many natures - music, performance, contemporary dance, video projections, happening, scene painting and video-installations. We have a wealth of ideas and a carefully set schedule but welcome new and challenging proposals. We appreciate both solo exhibitions and curatorial undertakings. We are open to partnerships with artists, both Romanian and international curators and other institutions and organizations with the same profile. The ATELIER 030202 is hosted by the Sala Nouă (New Hall) of the Comedy Theater in Bucharest, being established and coordinated by the visual artist Mihai Zgondoiu.
